I'm from Austin, Texas and became interested in youth advocacy and resiliency my freshman year of high school after learning about the school-to-prison pipeline. Since then, my goal has been to work towards dismantling the pipeline by mentoring, empowering and working with youth. With this goal in mind, I have pursed a double major in Criminal Justice and Social Work. I will graduate Miami this August with those two degrees. Before Envision Partnerships, I was a fair housing for immigrants and refugee's intern in Cincinnati. I encountered Envision Partnerships through Sean Higgins at a job fair who heard about my passion for juvenile justice and connected me with Lori, Kristina and Kim. I am excited to learn more about prevention and mediation.
