Local Outreach Suicide Survivors/Drug Overdose Survivor Support Team (LOSS/DOSS)

Volunteer Information

We envision a community of compassionate volunteers equipped to help suicide loss survivors and unintentional drug overdose loss survivors experience a restoration of hope and a future where they can thrive.

The Butler County LOSS/DOSS Team depends on its volunteers in a variety of ways and offers volunteer opportunities that include:

  • Scene Responders to connect and support loss survivors immediately 
  • Scene Activation Team Volunteer
  • Survivor Follow Up
  • Administrative support
  • Representing Butler County LOSS/DOSS Team in the community
  • Speaking and writing for various audiences
