Young people are important.  They are a valuable resource.  Youth today are struggling to find their place in our communities.  We know what kids need to thrive.  Search Institute has identified 40 Developmental Assets and 5 Relationship Keys to helping children succeed.  Each of us plays a role in building the assets of young people.  And Developmental relationships are the roots of youth success.  When youth experience these relationships with their parents and other adults their outcomes are better, their risk behaviors are lower, and they are more likely to be on the path to become their best selves.  All of our prevention programming is built upon the Asset Framework.
