 ies. Come to one or both parts to learn and have safe conversations about 
 mental health. \n\nThe first event is QPR Gatekeeper training on Wed. 10/1
 3/21 6:00-8:00 pm in 126 McGuffey Hall. Like CPR teaches how to assist som
 eone in a physical health crisis\, QPR trains how to assist someone in a m
 ental health crisis. Learn how to recognize warning signs\, how to ask the
  suicide question\, how to practice active listening to persuade someone t
 o get help\, and access the resources to refer them to. Participants will 
 receive training materials and certificate. Hours can be applied to Ohio C
 ertification Prevention Specialist Assistant and other certifications.\n\n
 The second event on Sun. 10/24/21 5:00-6:15 pm in 121 McGuffey Hall is a C
 ommunity Conversation led by the Butler County Suicide Prevention Coalitio
 n. Join with others in a safe environment to consciously examine in small 
 groups how to address stigma and the epidemic of anxiety and depression th
 at is plaguing people especially at this time. Free dinner will be provide
 d.\n\nFeel free to come to just one event or both. Those who are in attend
 ance at both parts of the series will receive a $25 gift card to Famous Fo
 otwear. \n\nStep into the conversation and be part of the solution. Togeth
 er we can write a new story . . . working as a community\, reducing stigma
  and the number of suicides every year until not one life is lost.
